How to get started

  • Starting Monday, July 18, visit FirstCitizens.com or download the First Citizens Mobile Banking app to your mobile device or tablet.
  • Sign in using the Login ID mailed to you in a letter dated June 30, 2022. Follow the simple steps to confirm your identity and create your new password, then choose Register Your Device.

If you were a OneWest Bank customer, online banking access ended at 6 pm PT on Friday, July 15. If you were a CIT treasury management customer, online banking access ended at 9 pm ET on Friday, July 15. Your online banking access resumed at First Citizens on Monday, July 18.

Account transfers weren't converted, so you'll need to reschedule any future-dated account transfers and reestablish all recurring transfers.

Starting Monday, July 18, visit FirstCitizens.com from your desktop or laptop computer. You can also download the First Citizens Mobile Banking app to your mobile device or tablet.

Sign in using the Login ID mailed to you in a letter dated June 30, 2022. Follow the simple steps to confirm your identity and create your new password, then choose Register Your Device if you're logging in from a device you plan to use regularly.

Your bill pay payees converted automatically, and your scheduled or recurring bill payments will continue to be paid without interruption. However, your bill pay transaction history and eBills didn't automatically convert to First Citizens Digital Banking.

Simply download our iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ app from the App Store® or Google Play™. Starting July 18, you can log in using the credentials you've already established for First Citizens Digital Banking. If you're signing in for the first time, use the Login ID sent to you in our letter dated June 30, 2022.

If you enrolled in Digital Banking for business with OneWest Bank on or before April 29, 2022, you can log in using the Login ID mailed to you in a letter dated June 30, 2022.

If you enrolled in online banking with OneWest Bank after April 29, 2022—or if you weren't already enrolled in online banking—you can enroll in First Citizens Digital Banking for business on or after July 18, 2022.

Important: The primary user for your business was converted, but any other existing users for your business will need to be reestablished in First Citizens Digital Banking.
