Business credit cards can be used for business purposes, including travel and supply purchases. Personal credit cards can be used by individuals to pay off personal debts and build credit. Compared to personal cards, business credit cards carry higher spending limits, can be given to individual employees with set spending limits and have business-specific benefits and rewards.

Business credit cards work much the same way as personal credit cards, although they generally offer a higher credit limit. A business credit card can help you keep your business and personal expenses separate to make it easier when it's time to do your taxes. As an owner, you can give business credit cards to employees and set limits that you control. Consistent on-time payments to a business credit card will allow your business to build good credit and can open the door to more financial opportunities.

Merchants who accept Visa credit cards are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making reward offers to you. We make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. When this occurs, purchases with that merchant won't qualify for rewards offers on purchases in that category.

The $95 initial annual fee will be waived the first year but charged to your Premium Rewards Business Visa account every 12 months thereafter.
