Summary of Actions to Take

Here's a summary of key dates and reminders. Please review the topics below, and if they impact your services be sure to take our recommended steps to help ensure a smooth transition to First Citizens Digital Banking.

Access

Thursday, November 10

  • Access to your current system ends on Thursday, November 10, at 9 pm ET, but some individual business services end earlier. Be sure to review the relevant sections below for details.

Monday, November 14

  • Access to First Citizens Digital Banking begins at 7 am ET.
  • Leveraging the user ID provided in the letter mailed the week of October 31, follow these steps to log in to Digital Banking:
  1. Go to FirstCitizens.com or download the First Citizens Mobile Banking app from your mobile device or tablet.
  2. For desktop, click Log In and select First Time Login. For mobile, select New User Login from the login box.
  3. Enter your login ID and follow the steps to receive your one-time secure access code.
  4. Once you receive and enter your secure access code, you'll be prompted to create your password. Then click Register Device if you're logging in from a device you plan to use regularly.

ACH Positive Pay

  • Any ACH exception items will be presented as normal on Thursday, November 10, and will need to be decisioned as normal by 3 pm ET.
  • You may be contacted on Thursday, November 10, through Monday, November 14, regarding pay or return decisions for Monday's normal ACH exceptions.
  • Beginning Tuesday, November 15, exceptions will be displayed in First Citizens Digital Banking to be decisioned.
  • Your most recent authorization rules will still be in effect.

ACH Transactions

Thursday, November 10

  • ACH services through your current online banking system will no longer be available after Thursday, November 10, at 8 pm ET. All ACH transactions scheduled with an effective date of November 14 will process. Any ACH transactions with an effective date after November 14 won't process and need to be reestablished after conversion.
  • Your recipients and templates won't automatically convert to First Citizens Digital Banking. We recommend that you record or print out your templates and recipient information by Wednesday, November 9. You'll need this information to reestablish your payments in First Citizens Digital Banking on Monday, November 14.
  • Your ACH company ID will remain the same.

Alerts

By Thursday, November 10

  • Make note of your current account and service alerts, which won't transfer to First Citizens Digital Banking.

Monday, November 14

Bill Pay

Thursday, November 10

  • Bill pay through your current online banking system will no longer be available beginning Thursday, November 10, at 9 pm ET.
  • Your bill pay payees and single or recurring payments will automatically convert to First Citizens Digital Banking.
  • Scheduled or recurring bill payments will be transferred to First Citizens Digital Banking and will continue to be paid as normal.
  • Your bill pay transaction history and eBills will automatically convert to First Citizens Digital Banking. However, we recommend recording or printing your history and payee account numbers and addresses prior to Thursday, November 10, at 9 pm ET.

Check Positive Pay

  • Your check issue files can be loaded as normal on Thursday, November 10.
  • Any exceptions received on Thursday, November 10, will need to be decisioned as normal by 3 pm ET.
  • Your exceptions will be available to decision as normal on Thursday, November 10. You may be contacted on Monday, November 14, regarding discrepancies or exceptions for Check Positive Pay for decisions of checks that don't match the check issue file.
  • Beginning Tuesday, November 15, exceptions will be displayed in First Citizens Digital Banking to be decisioned.

Entitlements

  • Your existing primary user for your business will be converted, but any other existing users for your business will need to be reestablished by you on the First Citizens Digital Banking platform on or after Monday, November 14.

Internal Transfers

By Thursday, November 10

  • Make note of your one-time or recurring transfers so you're able to reestablish these in First Citizens Digital Banking.

Monday, November 14

  • Reestablish your one-time or recurring transfers in First Citizens Digital Banking.

Intuit: Quicken®, QuickBooks®, Mint®

Thursday, November 10

  • Disconnect all current accounts prior to Thursday, November 10, at 9 pm ET.

Monday, November 14

Mobile Banking

Beginning Monday, November 14

  • Download the free First Citizens Digital Banking mobile app and activate mobile access using the new permanent credentials you've established with us online.

Remote Deposit Capture

Thursday, November 10

  • Access to your current remote deposit capture will end on Thursday, November 10, at 8 pm ET.

Monday, November 14

  • Access to First Citizens mobile deposit will be available to you on Monday, November 14, at 7 am ET.

Transaction History

Thursday, November 10

  • Your online banking transaction and statement history won't be transferred to First Citizens Digital Banking.
  • Please be sure to download or print your online banking transaction and statement history prior to Thursday, November 10, at 9 pm ET.

Monday, November 14

  • Your transaction history and statements for your new First Citizens products will begin to be retained.

Wires

Thursday, November 10

  • Domestic wires through your current online banking system will no longer be available beginning Thursday, November 10, at 5 pm ET.
  • International wires through your current online banking system will no longer be available beginning Thursday, November 10, at 4 pm ET.
  • Your recipients and templates won't convert automatically to First Citizens Digital Banking. We recommend recording or printing your recipient information, as well as beneficiary details, by Wednesday, November 9. You'll need this information to reestablish your wires in First Citizens Digital Banking on Monday, November 14.

Monday, November 14

  • Any wires scheduled to pay after November 10 won't be processed and need to be reestablished in First Citizens Digital Banking on Monday, November 14.
  • To receive wires at First Citizens, be sure to provide senders with your new routing number and account numbers (if applicable) that will take effect on Monday, November 14.
