Don't be a victim of phishing! 

What is phishing? Phishing a type of social engineering and is one of the most common types of cyberattacks. Fraudsters send emails pretending to be from reputable companies in order to trick people into revealing their personal information. Often, they'll try to rush you into taking an action like clicking on a malicious website link, opening an infected attachment or sharing documentation with your personal information. 

Here are some tips to keep from being a victim of phishing. Beware of emails that are asking for sensitive information. Beware of emails that are rushing you to take an action or create a false sense of urgency. Be cautious of messages with generic greetings. When you receive emails from personal email accounts like Gmail or Hotmail, you should proceed with caution. Most importantly, if you feel the email is suspicious, go with your gut. Because you are your best defense against phishing!
