Check Reverse Positive Pay is a fraud protection capability for the check payments you receive. It helps you verify that checks presented to your accounts are free from fraudulent or suspicious items.

Essentials to know

  • First Citizens supports next-day viewing of paid checks in Commercial Advantage.
  • Action Item: Alerts can't be transferred to First Citizens, so make note of the Check Reverse Positive Pay alerts you currently rely on and reestablish them in Commercial Advantage starting July 18.

Fraud alerts, such as Positive Pay Suspect Items and Positive Pay Cutoff Time is Approaching, should be established immediately on July 18, 2022. More information about alerts can be found in the Alerts Quick Reference Guide (PDF) or by viewing the Creating Alerts video.

The decision cutoff time is 3:30 pm ET.

You'll access history via the Reporting tab in Commercial Advantage or Positive Pay and select Advanced Services in Digital Banking for business. A rolling 65 days of history will be available to you.

Images are available in Commercial Advantage and Digital Banking for business once they've posted the day after overnight processing.
