Pay People with Popmoney®


+What is Popmoney?
Popmoney gives you the ability to send money to or receive money from anyone with just an email address or mobile phone number.
+How do I register for Popmoney?
If you are a Bill Pay customer, simply log into Online Banking, select the Payments tab, and click on Pay People. You will need to set your preferences by selecting "preferences" and entering a mobile phone number and/or email address. Now you are ready to use Popmoney. If you are not registered for Bill Pay, contact us at 1.888.FC DIRECT (1.888.323.4732) to enroll.
+How do I send a Popmoney payment?
To send a payment, log in to your Online Banking account and select the Payments tab. Click on Pay People and then select Send Money. Choose the account from which you want to send the payment. Finally, enter the email address or mobile number for the recipient of the payment, the amount you would like to send and a message to the recipient.
+How do I collect a Popmoney payment?
To collect a payment that was sent to you with Popmoney, log in to your Online Banking account. From the Payments tab click on Pay People and select "Preferences". Add the email address or mobile phone number where you received the notification. Verify this email address or mobile phone number by clicking "Validate" next to the added contact point. You will receive a validation code via text or email. Enter the validation code and click "Submit". Select Overview and click "Details" next to the incoming payment. From the drop down box, select the account where you would like the money deposited. Next time, the money will automatically go to your preferred account.
+How quickly is my payment received?
All Popmoney transactions are subject to verification and may not be available for immediate receipt. Generally, payments are received in 2-3 business days.
+Can I view previous Popmoney transactions?
Yes. Previous transactions are available in Pay People under Activity.
+Is there a fee to use Popmoney?
There is no charge to send or receive a Popmoney transaction.
+What are my Popmoney daily and monthly maximum limits?
Limits vary from customer to customer. To see your limits, click on Pay People and then Send Money. Enter the email address or mobile number for the recipient and enter the amount you would like to send. Click on the View Limits link that appeared next to the amount field to view your limits.
+What if the recipient does not claim the payment?
Payments expire after 10 days. The payment and fee will be returned to your account.
+Will the recipient be able to see my account information?
No personal information is exchanged between the recipient and the sender. The recipient will only be able to see your first name, last name, and any message you wrote for the payment. If you send your payment to an email address, your email address will also be visible to the recipient.
+Can I use Popmoney for payments outside of the United States?
At this time, Popmoney is only available between bank accounts in the United States.
