BankMiles^® Program Rules
and Conditions

(Personal and Business Accounts)

As used in these Program Rules and Conditions, “you” and “your” refer to the Visa or MasterCard cardholder enrolled in the BankMiles Program offered by your Bank. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to your Bank. “Account” means your Visa or MasterCard account with Bank.

Eligibility

1. Your enrollment in the BankMiles Program is effective on the date we receive and process your completed enrollment form (the “Enrollment Date”). Upon enrollment, and subject to these Program Rules and Conditions, you will earn one BankMile for each dollar in net purchases (qualifying purchases net of returns) made using your Bank-issued VISA or MasterCard card. No BankMiles are earned for cash advances, balance transfers, special access checks, traveler’s check purchases, or any fees or transaction charges, including but not limited to, late fees, annual fees, over-limit fees or other fees or transaction charges posted to your Account.
2. To be eligible to earn and redeem BankMiles and remain in the Program, your Account must be and remain open and in good standing, i.e. not canceled, revoked or terminated, delinquent (more than 60 days past due) or otherwise not available to use for charges, and any applicable BankMiles fees must be received by Bank (an “Eligible Accounts”).
3. The annual membership fee for participation in the BankMiles Program (the “Annual Fee”) is $39.99 for personal accounts and $49.99 for business accounts. We will charge your Account for the first Annual Fee on or after your Enrollment Date and thereafter, with no prior notice to you, on or after each anniversary date of your Enrollment Date. We may change the Annual Fee at any time upon advance notice to you as required by law.

Reward Levels

1. Approximately 45 days after you accumulate 7,000 BankMiles, you will automatically be issued a BankMiles Certificate that entitles you to $100 off any airfare, any airline, any available flight, domestic or international, provided the airline permits agency bookings (“Participating Airline”). You may use one or more BankMiles Certificates and receive a $100 discount for each certificate redeemed up to the full ticket price. BankMiles Certificates must be redeemed within two years from the date of issuance and may be redeemed only if your Account is an Eligible Account at the time of redemption.
2. You may collect four BankMiles Certificates (28,000 BankMiles) and redeem them for one free coach class round-trip scheduled ticket on any U.S. Participating Airline for travel within the forty-eight contiguous United States.
3. There are no monthly or annual caps on the points you can earn on your BankMiles enrolled credit card. You will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend (net purchases) on your BankMiles enrolled credit card. Points are earned on net purchases. Please note that if there are returns to your card, a negative point balance may result and certificates will be held until your points balance is greater than zero.
4. If you have more than one Account, you may enroll each Account separately and earn BankMiles separately for each Account; however, you may not combine BankMiles from different Accounts to earn a BankMiles Certificate or combine BankMiles Certificates from more than one Account for the purchase of a ticket.

Reward Redemption and Fees

1. All BankMiles Certificates must be redeemed through the BankMiles Travel/Redemption Reservation Center. The toll-free number will appear on your BankMiles Certificate. The Travel/Redemption Center hours of operation are 7 AM – 8 PM E.S.T. , Monday- Friday and 9 AM – 8 PM E.S.T , Saturday and Sunday. Your Account must be an Eligible Account at the time of redemption. Upon the redemption of your BankMiles Certificates, your Account will be charged the full ticket price plus a non-refundable administrative/service fee of $20.00. For each BankMiles Certificate redeemed, $100 will be credited to your Account up to the ticket price within 2 to 3 weeks. A $20.00 non-refundable service fee will also be assessed in the case of BankMiles Certificates redeemed for a free round-trip ticket. A non-refundable service fee of $25.00 will be charged for all non-redemption/non-reward airline ticket reservations made through the BankMiles Travel/Redemption Reservation Center. Redemption service fees or costs will be charged to your Account, and you must authorize all such charges to your Account before any tickets will be issued.
2. Bank Miles Certificates must be redeemed by you, but travel may be used by another person. You are responsible for any personal tax liability related to participation in the BankMiles Program. You are also responsible for payment of any excess baggage charges, departure taxes or other charges that may be assessed by governmental entities as a result of travel under the BankMiles Program.
3. To receive a free round-trip ticket at 28,000 BankMiles (four Certificates), you must book your reservations at least 21 days in advance, include a Saturday night stay. Travel must be completed within 30 days of departure.
4. Free round-trip domestic tickets will be booked using the lowest available, non-refundable fare within 24-hours of desired travel time and are for coach class tickets only. All flights are subject to seat, carrier and/or travel date availability. Tickets are non-refundable. Any changes to travel reservations must be made directly with the corresponding airline and are subject to penalty, fees, or other charges enforced by that carrier.
5. Redemption for a free round-trip ticket in the contiguous United States would be on the same airline. En-route stopovers are not permitted unless they are to make direct connections. Certain minimum and maximum stays may apply to some destinations. Reservations for tickets also exclude the usage of charters, wholesalers and consolidators.
6. The BankMiles Redemption Center reserves the right to book customers on the airline of its choice if there is no availability on the airline you choose, or to take advantage of the lowest available fare when booking a free round-trip ticket.
7. BankMiles Certificates may not be used in conjunction with any other coupon offer, discount or frequency reward program. The airline ticket must be purchased prior to the expiration date of the BankMiles Certificate(s) being redeemed.
8. BankMiles Certificates must be used in $100 increments. Use of BankMiles Certificates in $100 increments over the price of the ticket will result in the forfeiture of the remaining amount on the Certificate. BankMiles Certificates or any unused portion may not be redeemed for cash. No cash refunds, credits, or partial awards above the ticket price will be issued upon redemption of BankMiles Certificate(s). If you terminate enrollment in the BankMiles Program, you will forfeit any points or Certificates remaining on your account.
9. Bank and the BankMiles Program are not responsible for the performance by the airlines of the ticketed transportation. All reservations are made subject to the conditions of carriage, supply or business of the party providing the service, which include exclusions and limitations of liability.
10. All travel itineraries and supporting documentation will be sent via e-mail when available; otherwise, paper documents will be sent via first-class mail. When electronic tickets are available and paper tickets are requested, additional fees may apply at the time of ticketing. For travel within 14 days of booking, travel documents will be shipped via standard overnight delivery (next day delivery by 5 p.m.) and billed to your Account. Priority, Saturday and International deliveries will be subject to additional shipping charges and billed to your Account.

General

1. This disclosure supersedes any prior notice of BankMiles Program Rules and Conditions.
2. The BankMiles Program is a service provided through Enhancement Services Corporation (ESC), Alpharetta , Georgia . In the event of fraud, abuse of Program privileges or violation of the Program rules (including any attempt to sell, exchange or transfer BankMiles or any instrument exchangeable for BankMiles), or for any other reason in Bank’s discretion, Bank reserves the right to cancel your membership in the BankMiles Program.
3. You agree to hold "bank", Enhancement Services Corporation, and any other third parties associated with the program harmless if the program is interrupted, terminated, suspended or cancelled for any reason prior to your redemption of any accumulated BankMiles and /or your receipt or use of your BankMiles Certificates.
4. You must contact the airline for any changes, cancellations, or information about changes to flight schedules. Your Bank, BankMiles and Enhancement Services Corporation are not responsible, individually or collectively, for any such changes and will not notify you regarding any such changes.
5. The BankMiles Program and benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Bank. Bank reserves the right at any time and without notice to the extent permitted by applicable law to modify, suspend, cancel, or change the BankMilesProgram or any aspect thereof, including but not limited to adding fees or changing redemption values. Bank may temporarily suspend the BankMiles Program at any time without notice, which could result in the cancellation of any outstanding BankMiles Certificates.

Void Where Prohibited

The BankMiles Program is void where prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
