Chimney Rock Park Receives First Citizens Bank Amazing Customer Service Award

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Chimney Rock Park, a scenic tourist attraction, has been named the recipient of the First Citizens Bank Amazing Customer Service Award.

The award, presented at tonight's Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, is given to an area business that goes above and beyond in providing its customers with amazing service.

"The First Citizens Bank Amazing Customer Service Award is our way of recognizing an area business that shares our belief that customers come first," said Bob Roberts, the bank's Buncombe Area executive. "It's fitting that we honor Chimney Rock Park on the occasion of its 100th anniversary this year. A committee appointed by the Chamber reviewed the nominations and selected the winner.

The park got high marks for its customer service philosophy and employee training and reward programs.

Chimney Rock Park features numerous hiking trails, a 404-foot waterfall, nature center and picnic areas.
